Trichocereus Bridgesii | Bolivian Torch Cactus

Bolivian Torch Cactus | Trichocereus bridgesii | Echinopsis lageniformis

The Bolivian Torch Cactus is a relative of the San Pedro Cactus with a more glaucous blue skin at the tip that fades to green and longer spines. Typically skinnier growth with fewer ribs and a bigger distance between the areoles than San Pedro cactus.

We have a few different varieites of Bolivian Torch that fall under this listing some are seed grown and others are cuttings of a clone stock so the stock you receive will vary depending on what is available at that time. Bridgesii will vary as a mix of SS02 x Malo2, Bertha x Malo 2, Eileen x Malo 2, Eileen x Lumberjack, SS02 x Lumberjack and more pure bridgesii crosses.

Plant care note: It is very important to use a highly inorganic potting mix with over 50% pumice in your medium to avoid humidity related issues with bridgesii. Adjust the mix accordingly upward with more inorganic material depending on how humid your growing conditions are.
